We apologize for the confusion on the information.īy examining your pingplotter we were able to confirm that your issue is related to your ISP, as it is occurring on non-local hops, and the packet loss and connection failure is originating before you are reaching our servers.Īs such you will need to contact your ISP and inform them of the issue, they may need to give you manual port forwarding or do a factory reset on your modem. It was my understanding that the WOWP server was located on the East Coast. So Support was telling me that I should get my ISP to optimize a rout to California. I was then told through support that my hop 2 was causing ping spikes and I should call my ISP to have them change the routing to optimize ping to the above IP address. In a recent Support Ticket, I was told to enter 162.216.228.23 into PingPlotter. There seems to be something wonky with the IP address that should be used for PingPlotter testing. I have not had a chance to check this out yet as I have been trying to work through everything from past support tickets, as well as your other tips.
